Shootings at the Arlberg
The Arlberg is my home mountain and my studio. I grew up skiing between Lech, Zürs and Stuben, my whole career as a photographer started on these slopes. In winter you will still find me up here almost every day, chasing the best light. Two shootings you can book with me:
Couple photography
We meet in the morning or late afternoon, when the light is at its best. Then we head to a beautiful spot that fits the two of you. Then we simply spend that time together and make pictures you will keep forever.
No stress, no forced posing. Just you, the mountains and a moment worth remembering.
The ultimate ski photo shoot
I join you for a full day on your ski adventure, from the first lift to the last run and document all of it. A ski guide comes along: I can organize one for you, or you bring your own. The guide takes care of safety and route, I take care of the photos.
The Arlberg is where my photography started.
Since I was a kid I have spent my winters here, skiing and taking photos. My whole career grew out of these mountains. It took me to the finals of Red Bull Illume, the biggest action sports photo contest in the world. And to first place at the Bundespreis Natur 2025. All of that started on these slopes and it goes into every shoot I do here.
FAQs
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better, honestly. Spontaneous dates sometimes work out, but 3 to 4 days ahead is the minimum. I only have limited spots each winter, so for short-notice dates I can never promise anything. Just ask.
What if the weather is bad on the day of our shoot?
We decide together 24 hours before the shoot. If the weather does not play along, we try to move it. If rescheduling does not work for you, we cancel. A weather cancellation never costs you anything.
Do you also shoot families?
Yes, happily. It works just like the couple shootings: good light, a beautiful spot and real moments with your family instead of posed group pictures.
Do I need to be an expert skier for an action shoot?
No. Everything is adapted to your level and the guide picks terrain that is safe for you and still looks great on camera.
What should we wear for a couple session?
Layers and muted, earthy colors look great in the snow. Most importantly: bring what you feel good in.
When do we get our photos?
You get a first sneak peek within 48 hours, no matter which shooting you book. The full edited gallery follows via a private online portal within 3 to 4 weeks.

Tell me who you are, when you are at the Arlberg and what you have in mind. Give me a few days to get back to you, I am probably out in the mountains.
