Framed
A fine art paper print in a magnetic changeable frame. Behind the glass sits a 5 cm passe-partout in bright white museum board, acid-free and highly lightfast, with a bevelled cut.
The frame. Solid wood with real wood veneer, 13 mm profile, in three tones: white (maple), black (oak) and natural oak.
How it works. Magnets in the profile hold glass, passe-partout and print together, sealed against dust. Press lightly on the glass and it opens from the front, no tools needed. So you can swap in a new print later and leave the frame on the wall.
Museum glass. In front of the print sits anti-reflective museum glass, the kind galleries use for work they care about. Ordinary picture glass hands you back the window and the lamp behind you. Museum glass cuts that to a small fraction, so you see the photograph and not your own room.
The paper. Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth, 305 g/m², 100 percent cotton, matte with a smooth surface, so fine detail stays fine.
Best for: living rooms, bedrooms, offices. The classic gallery look.
Care. Dust frame and glass with a soft cloth.
